Affiliate disclosure

This site earns a commission when readers buy through its links. Here is exactly how that works, which links are affected, and what that money does and does not change.

In one paragraph

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the operator of this site may receive a commission from the seller. You pay exactly the same price either way — a commission is paid out of the seller’s margin, not added to your total. Affiliate commissions are this site’s only source of revenue.

Why this notice exists

United States Federal Trade Commission guidance requires that a material connection between a publisher and a seller be disclosed clearly and conspicuously, close to the recommendation it relates to. This site earns money when readers buy the products it writes about, which is exactly the kind of connection that rule covers. Rather than burying that in a footer, it is stated on every product page and set out in full here.

Which links are commercial

Any link or button that takes you to a seller’s sales page or checkout is a commercial link. On this site these are labelled with wording such as “Check the official offer”, “Official Site” or “Visit the official page”, and they open in a new tab.

In the page source, every one of these links carries rel="sponsored" — the attribute Google specifies for links that exist because of a commercial arrangement — so search engines are told about the relationship as clearly as readers are.

Links that are not commercial and earn nothing: citations to PubMed, the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, NCCIH, MedlinePlus, the Cochrane Library and other public health sources; and internal links between pages on this site.

Who the seller is

This site does not sell products, hold stock, process payments or handle refunds. For Nitric Boost Ultra, orders are processed by ClickBank as the retailer of record. Your purchase contract, your payment, your delivery and your refund rights are with that seller and retailer, not with this site. Refund terms are set by them and can change, and the terms shown at checkout when you order are the ones that apply. See the contact page for why order enquiries cannot be resolved here.

The ownership relationship you should know about

Gluco6

Gluco6 is operated by the same team that publishes this site. The Gluco6 review is therefore not independent third-party coverage, and it is not presented as such. This is disclosed rather than omitted so that you can discount it accordingly. Every other product covered on this site is researched independently of its manufacturer, with no ownership relationship.

What a commission does not buy

  • It does not buy a rating. This site publishes no star ratings, scores or aggregate review counts for any product, partner or otherwise.
  • It does not buy a testimonial. No customer quotes are published, because none could be verified.
  • It does not suppress limitations. Undisclosed doses, proprietary blends, absent clinical trials, inconsistent guarantee terms and drug-interaction cautions are published on commercial pages, where they matter most.
  • It does not buy a health claim. No product here is described as treating, curing or preventing any condition, whatever the seller’s marketing says.
  • It does not set the running order. Products are not ranked by commission rate.

The conflict of interest, stated directly

A site that earns money when you buy has a financial interest in you buying. That is a real conflict and it cannot be argued away — it can only be disclosed, constrained and made checkable. The constraints are written down in the editorial and review policy, and the easiest way to check whether they are being honoured is to read the limitations sections on the commercial pages themselves. If they read like advertising, the policy is not being kept, and that is worth telling us about.

Advertising and tracking

Affiliate links may pass a tracking identifier to the seller so that a resulting purchase is attributed to this site. That process is operated by the seller’s affiliate network, not by this site. How data is handled on this site is described in the Privacy Policy.

Not medical advice

The presence of an affiliate link is not a recommendation that you personally should take a product. It is a route to the seller for readers who have already decided to buy. Whether a supplement is appropriate for you — particularly alongside prescription medication — is a question for a qualified healthcare professional. See the disclaimer.
